Hi all, for the last week or so occasionally my 2007 C4GP 2.0HDi with tradition automatic gearbox will disengage cruise control as the gearbox has a "hiccup" Its more of a judder that I can feel and it normally happens when the car tries to slow down (eg, cruise is on, I've just gone up a hill and the road flattens off, so the motor backs off, that's when I feel a judder and at the same time
Had exactly this problem with my semi auto Peugeot 3008 - took it to my local Peugeot garage who quoted me £3900 and car only worth about £4.5k so not really an option! Contacted a mate who knew a guy and he has taken my car apart and yeah flywheel is broken and needs a clutch as well as slave cylinder .
The first question they will ask is which gearbox do you have as the C4 Picasso was fitted with either a proper auto box, or a piloted semi-automatic EGS box. The full auto box was only fitted to 2.0 diesels, but there was also an EGS version. I had one of those. The 1.6 diesel is only fitted with the EGS box (manual lso available).

C4 Picasso 1.6 HDi 2013 model mk 2 it is auto or semi autoit has a lever on the steering wheel and two paddles + and - on the steering wheel. The lever positions are R, N, A, M. in M you can use the paddles. I moved the car reversed into a space. Then turned it off. When I turned it back on the car started because the lever was in N position.
V9Ix. I'm lucky enough to have unlimited access to a fully equipped workshop where I work with two post ramp, transmission jacks and air tools. To do this you need to remove everything above the gearbox including the battery tray to access the gearbox mount. Joined: Jan 08 2016. Location: Cambridgeshire. Hi, I need some advice about our 2007 C4 Grand Picasso auto petrol. When it changes gears it makes an awful banging sound. We have been told the gearbox oil needs topping up but I've read on here that you shouldn't need too. Any advice would be appreciated.
The 2013-2015 'automatic' gearbox was actually an automated manual, with an actuator. Newer models of the engines had full automatic with Adblue The automated manuals had a lot of issues.

That is the official Citroen way to do it, if yours works then great, if not then you will need to hook it up to Lexia/Proxia.
