All the wires to the tailgate go through the rubber tube so possibly a few of them have broken or maybe just the earth wire. This is from the C4 Technical section Common Problems pinned topic and it may be worth contacting your Citroen dealer in case they may do the repair free of charge: 13. Tailgate electrical faults - rear wiper, lock.

I have a problem while driving, car says front left door opened, and the door is closed. it happens especially in corners. So, I assume faulty door closed sensor. Where is the sensor location, or what is the problem.
Im having a problem with the Xsaras Central locking, this video is uploaded mainly to discuss the issue on the forum, but if you know whats wrong and how to
Hi This problem started a couple of days ago. As far as I can understand there was nothing that happened to cause it. The remote central locking does not work. I have abserved that the battery light stays on and flashes for a minute or two after taking the key out of ther ignition. The internal central locking button works fine.
7. Defective key fob. If your C4 key fob stopped working after you dropped it on the floor, you may have damaged the internal chip. Or, if your key fob just stopped working one day out of the blue, in rare cases this could indicate a faulty key fob โ assuming you have tried everything to fix the issue e.g. battery replacement, reprogramming and the spare key fob works.
C990. Citroen C4 Vts: central locking no longer works on one of the doors. First of all try to lock the door manually. If this does not show a problem, it means that the mechanism is operational. Your concern therefore comes from somewhere else upstream. In principle, this is a concern from a short circuit. In order to control it it's super convenient!
x 4994. Re: 2015 C4 Picasso alarm/BSI problem. by GiveMeABreak ยป Fri May 13, 2022 6:18 pm. Yes it is similar with keyless entry Paul. Just remove the emergency key from the fob, turn once to the rear in the driver's door to lock and again within 5 seconds to deadlock. Doing this will not activate the alarm.

Turn ignition on and off quickly 4 times, remove key from ignition, you will then hear tone, point ignition key towards interior light and operate the central locking. This will reset it.
